In the inspiring and heart-warming animated family movie “Abominable,” Chloe Bennet stars as Yi, a fantastic part in the new must-see family movie.

The movie is about how three teens — Yi, Jing, and Ping — journey across China to find the home of a magical yeti that Yi had found on her roof in the beginning of the film. Later on, we come to realize that Yi has a magical violin that is their only “weapon” against the lab workers who try to get their yeti back, and possibly harm it.

This movie reminds me of “How to Train Your Dragon,” because it also portrayed a human becoming best friends with an animal.

One mistake that I think this movie made was not including subtitles when the characters speak Chinese, which happens quite a few times throughout the movie.

This movie is rated PG and is suitable for kids age 5-10. Overall, I would give this movie a 9 out of 10 and highly recommend watching it if you like family movies and movies about friendship and animals.
