No. 2 Watertown High boys’ basketball part of MIAA playoff doubleheader Friday

The WHS boys’ will play host to Medway at 7:30 p.m., following the WHS girls’ tourney game at 6

The Watertown High School boys’ basketball finished the regular season, 13-7, and will next host a first-round MIAA tournament game on Friday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. The game is part of a state playoff doubleheader at Watertown High, with the WHS girls’ team playing at 6 p.m.

The boys’ team was seeded No. 2 in Division 3, based on power rankings, and will meet No. 34 Medway (13-8), which won its opener Tuesday at Apponequet.

The Raiders finished the season winning their last four games, including a 54-39 victory over visiting Cardinal Spellman on Feb. 22.
