Animal Rights club reaches out to help local shelter

Watertown High club collecting items to help the Animal Rescue League of Boston through Nov. 26

Sasha Helfner, Raider Times staff

The Animal Rights club at Watertown High School  is collecting donations for the Animal Rescue League of Boston. The last day for donations will be Wednesday, Nov. 26.

The Animal Rights club is collecting:

* Towels, blankets, sheets, Clorox bleach;

* Cat and dog toys, treats and beds, cat scratching pads, cat brushes, peanut butter;

* Bird toys and food

(Surprisingly, peanut butter has  been the most popular item to donate so far!)

All collections should please be brought to Watertown High’s main office or to Room 333.

The club is grateful and thankful to everyone who has donated so far, and the animals will be very grateful too.
