“Alice in Wonderland” to hit stage at WHS!
Fall play set for Thursday, Dec. 12, and Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m.
“We’re all mad here, I’m mad, you’re mad…” says the Cheshire Cat (Melissa Loumi). Thus is the mantra of “Alice in Wonderland,” which hits the Watertown High School stage on Thursday, Dec. 12, and Friday, Dec. 13, Curtain goes up at 7 p.m.
When Alice (Zoe Grodsky) follows the White Rabbit (Sarah Gallant) and falls down the rabbit hole, anything is possible! From meeting a Duchess (Katelyn Mendez) to tea with the Mad Hatter (Matt Banks), the March Hare (Mary Breen) and the Doormouse (Erin DeLong), all sorts of crazy things happen, and nobody knows what will happen next!
Don’t forget to bow to the King and Queen of Hearts (Nareg Kalaydjian and Kara Macri, respectively), or it’s “off with your head!”
This is a show that’s a must-see!
“ ‘Alice in Wonderland’ is about letting your imagination run wild, and we have had a blast rehearsing and preparing the play,” said Beth Peters, the play’s director.
Tickets are available at the door for $10, but only $8 for students.
