In what has become a wonderful tradition at Watertown High School, Ms. Nykiel and a contingent of WHS student and staff volunteers traveled to Camp Sunshine in Maine on October 4-7, 2012. Camp Sunshine is a retreat center for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. The camp relies on volunteers, such as WHS students who have been volunteering at the camp for the past few years, as well as charitable donations to provide support to the families in need.
