No end to action in “Transformers: Age of Extinction”
“Transformers: Age of Extinction” has new human characters, a very good plot, and great action sequences.
The story is about an inventor named Cade Yaeger (played by Mark Wahlberg), who invents machines and tries to sell them to pay for his daughter’s college education. While searching for parts, he finds an old rusty truck that he decides to bring to his land in Texas.
While this is happening a company called KSI is paying the military to kill Transformers after the Chicago attack (shown in the third installment of the series) and using them to make their own robot military.
The Transformer it wants the most is Optimus Prime, who is the truck Yaeger finds.
After the CIA attacks the Yaeger’s home, it is up to Cade, his daughter, and her boyfriend Shane to figure out why the CIA is doing this.
The people who should see this movie are ones who can sit through nonstop action for three hours, as well as those who have seen the first three Transformers movies so they can understand how the story is working and why the Transformers are being hunted.
Michael Bay fans will be happy to know that this film features many explosions.
This movie is for meant for the teenage audience and anyone under 10 should not see it because of the explosive violence, adult humor, and terrifying villains.
Some may be disappointed to know there is no Linkin Park song in the end credits, like in the first three movies.
Overall, I recommend this movie, and I especially recommend seeing it in 3D to get the full experience. I give “Transformers: Age of Extinction” a rating of 8.5 out of 10.
