Boys Soccer Wins its Way to States
After arriving back at WHS, the boys pose for a team picture with their North and Eastern Massachusetts Championship trophies.
In a heated battle with the Sutton Sammies on Saturday, the Raiders of WHS lost 2-1 in the MIAA Division III Boys Soccer State Finals.
Having already achieved the North Championship and Eastern Massachusetts Championship titles, the boys headed to the State Championship game at Foley Stadium in Worcester. Cheered on by a number of vibrant Raider fans, the team played strong and hard until the very end.
Congratulations to the Raiders and their coaches on a great, winning season.
