“Legally Blonde: The Musical,” girls’ basketball, and boys’ hockey all take the stage on Thursday night; boys’ basketball advances; girls’ hockey tourney run ends

Watertown High students will be on center stage again Thursday, with the debut of “Legally Blonde: The Musical”, and MIAA tournament games featuring the girls’ basketball and boys’ hockey teams.

Wednesday was also busy as the boys’ basketball team beat Bedford, 68-50, in the Division 3 North tournament. The Raiders (17-5) will next play Stoneham (13-10) on Saturday, March 8, at Tsongas Arena in Lowell at 12:15 p.m.

The Watertown/Belmont girls’ hockey team lost Wednesday, 1-0, to Duxbury in the Division 1 quarterfinals. The Maraiders finished 17–3-2.

On Thursday, “Legally Blonde: The Musical” begins a three-night run at Watertown High School. The show Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night start at 7 p.m. Tickets for the WHS spring musical are $10 and will be available at the door.

In Billerica, the boys’ hockey team will face Wayland in the Division 3 North tournament. The game will be played at the Chelmsford Forum starting at 6:10 p.m.

A little while later, the Raiders’ girls’ basketball team will play Hamilton-Wenham in the Division 2 North tournament.  The game will be played at Chelmsford High starting at 7:30 p.m.
