Elizabeth Loftus scored in overtime to break a scoreless duel as Watertown High School won its MIAA Division 2 North field hockey tournament quarterfinal over Wayland, 1-0, on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Victory Field in Watertown.
With the win, the top-seeded Raiders (18-1) advanced to the sectional semifinals, where they will play either No. 4 seed Manchester-Essex (13-3-2) or No. 5 Lynnfield (13-4), who will meet Sunday afternoon.
Wayland, the No. 8 seed, completed its season at 11-6-3.
