The Watertown High football team won its season-opening game, 22-16, over Worcester South on Sept. 11, 2021, at Victory Field in Watertown. Mason Andrade (4-yard run) and Nathan Master (18-yard catch) scored before Billy McHugh sealed the victory by turning a pass from Johnny Cacace into an 82-yard touchdown.

The Raiders will play again Saturday afternoon, Sept. 18, at Hamilton-Wenham before returning home to Victory Field for their first Friday night game, Sept. 24, against Saugus.
