As the new school year starts to get into swing, so do all the clubs at the high school. The theater club at Watertown High School has been active as of late, and is already starting to produce the fall play.

This year’s fall play production is the classic “Our Town,” written in 1938 by Thornton Wilder. It depicts the lives of two families in the fictional small town of Grover’s Corners, N.H.

The play revolves around three main characters, George Gibbs (played by Alexander Harrison) and Emily Webb (played by Zoe Grodsky), neighbors who grow up together in Grover’s Corners and eventually get married; and the Stage Manager (played by Asher Harris), who narrates the play within itself and gives backgrounds on each character from time to time.
