Princesses, knights, and turkey legs abound at King Richard’s Faire

Go back in time at annual Renaissance fair, open this year though Oct. 23

Sandra Chacon and Isabella Vitti

King Richard’s Faire is a renaissance fair in Carver, Mass., held weekends from Sept. 3 through Oct. 23, 2016. Come and enjoy captivating fairies, breathtaking dancers, a silly mermaid, beautiful princesses, a “french” whipper, hilarious comedy shows, brave knights, thrilling jousts, a royal court, and King Richard himself.
Make sure to say hello to the princesses. (They’re very friendly.) On your way, check out some of the merchants, selling anything from swords to flower crowns. Live tigers to see, fortunes to be told, and delicious food to be eaten await you in Carver.
So grab some friends and a turkey leg, and transport yourself back in time and enjoy the magical time King Richard’s Faire provides you. There’s something here for everyone!
