She was birthed based upon love for freedom,

Many battles were fought to earn that right.

Not long after the whole world would see her,

The country that swiftly took off in flight.

To preserve the great land in which we dwell,

Through the conflicts of now and yesterday

Millions stood tall through the enemy’s Hell,

And time after time she stood in their way.

Although absolute she may seem to rest,

She paced herself reaching true sanctity.

Wrongs are essential for making a nest,

Today, she gifts to all her liberty.

Although she acknowledged all human thought,

A perfect soul, some say she still has not.
