Watertown High School field hockey team completes perfect season with 1-0 win over Sandwich in double overtime for Division 3 title

Junior Elizabeth Loftus scored in the second overtime to give Watertown (23-0) a 1-0 victory over Sandwich (19-2-2) in the MIAA Division 3 field hockey state championship on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at Hanover High School.

The Raiders’ perfect season produced the 19th state title for the field hockey team, all won under coach Eileen Donahue.
