The Watertown High School boys’ basketball team started the 2018 MIAA postseason at 14-6 and were given the No. 7 seed in the Division 3 North playoffs.

To commemorate the low seeding, the defending Division 3 North champs began tourney play wearing T-shirts with #Sleeper on the front.

After five straight wins, the Raiders are sleepers no more.

Watertown (19-6) will play for the Division 3 state championship on Saturday, March 17, against Easthampton (19-5). The game will be played at Springfield College starting at 3:30 p.m.
